Hospital Log: Day 5

The Pediatrician came in and said the plastics doc will be here later on to pull the drain tabs out a little more but she suspects they will keep the rest of the drain in until tomorrow and POSSIBLY release him depending on how he does with everything. No more blood tests at this point and if the IV comes out again (it was shaken loose yesterday from the bend in his arm so they moved it to his hand...ouch), she said they could switch to oral antibiotics so he's done with needles...yay! He's also been prescribed a probiotic to combat all these antibiotics he's been given and she is going to up the dosage to twice a day and then she said try a probiotic yogurt each day at home too. The Tooth fairy came last night and left him $5.25 and a sweet Hero Factory lego set along with a note telling him how brave he has been these past many days!

Catching up on some much needed rest

He built his Tooth Fairy prize all by himself!

I love when he's proud of himself too :)
