I have been pumping Drew up to get excited to visit the dentist for the first time for the last week! He asked me right away if he would be getting a shot...oh the fears of kids and doctors :) After I assured him that he would not be getting a shot, he was excited! The waiting room was awesome! Check out the TV screens with movies and video games!
Then we were called back by the Dental Assistant to take some XRays. She was very impressed with how good and still Drew was being (she actually told us about a girl twice his age that wasn't being so still).
Then it was time for the cleaning! The Dentist asked him what flavor toothpaste he would like her to use (he chose chocolate). She told him about and let Drew touch all the tools she would be using. She put some head phones on Drew so he could watch Cars 2 on the ceiling while she was working on him (I wish my dentist was like this!) Drew did a great job and had NO cavities (the Dentist called them Sugar Monsters, however). Drew parted with all the ladies totally in love with him, a goody bag of tooth stuff, stickers, and a red balloon. What an awesome first Dentist experience!
