Easter Fun at Moms!

We had some fun this year! The kids set a flour pile trap by the front door so we could catch that silly rabbit...we just didn't prepare ourselves for the mess he was about to leave! Carrot butts and footprints EVERWHERE (even on the toilet...we also discovered he poops jelly beans. Gross.)! At least he left some eggs filled with goodies and extra presents to make up for it all :)

First Lost Tooth!!

 Drew was so excited to FINALLY have a wiggly tooth and when it popped out at Nannie's house, he was even more ecstatic that it didn't hurt like he thought it would! He got a visit from the tooth fairy and was left some money and a new "transformer" (Drew's name for a Swiss army like tool with pliers). Maybe to help with the next wiggly tooth perhaps?

Drew finds it hilarious when he eats anything that happens to turn his tongue a different color!

Practicing For Baby Brother

 Drew was very concerned that he wouldn't know how to change his brother's diapers once he came out so Mrs. Howell (Drew's prior preschool teacher) gave him a practice doll and I got him some practice diapers. He is going to be the best big brother ever!

Disneyland Trip with Dad!

 He got to add signatures to his Mickey Mouse sweatshirt we started when I took him to Disneyland a while back :) Looks like he had a great time with dad, Jaime and Barbara...even got Ava a Minnie Mouse hat! Since he missed Valentines Day at school this year, the kids were sure not to forget him with their Valentine deliveries!

Mama's Boy

I have been working in the lunchroom for a couple months now at Andrew's school (let's me sneak in a couple more minutes with my monkey every day). Apparently, Drew was having a bad day that morning, and I look outside the lunchroom to see him walking down the hallway with this note (written by his teacher). We cuddled for a bit and then I walked him back to class all smiles. I love this boy something fierce!

Auntie Brea Comes for a Visit!

It's been a LONG time since we've seen auntie Brea since she has moved to Texas after graduating high school! We got to spend a couple days with her (it's never enough time) and this picture captured their goodbye. Until next time, auntie!

Passing Down the Tradition

My dad (Grandpa Frank) taught me how to draw this mouse in a Pizza Parlor when I was around Drew's age and I have been drawing them ever since. It's time to pass the torch to the kiddos. Here is Drew's first attempt and it's my favorite thing ever!

New Year's Eve!

We had the kids this year for New Years Eve and during the day we went and hung out at the Galleria and rode the carousal with Nannie. When we got home, we told the kids they could stay up until midnight but I was VERY tired come about 9pm so we switched on the East coast ball drop and...BAM. 9pm = Midnight as far as the kids were concerned :)

Christmas Time!

 This year we had the kiddos for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning (they went to their other parents for Christmas Day fun!). We made sugar cookies for Santa last night and the kids left their wish lists. We also went to Aunt Lynn's house for more presents and an epic dinner! They woke up ready for their treats and were not disappointed :) I love this time of year!

Gnocchi Making with Nannie

 A start of a new family tradition...making Gnocchi with Nannie! She showed the kids how to make these delicious little morsels and we cooked them. Can't wait for next year (we will have one more kiddo to teach the method to)!

A Family Made Official

After a decently rough year for us, this was the absolute highlight! This was the wedding of my dreams...just Sotirios, Myself, Drew (Sotirios' best man), Ava (my maid of honor) and our two best friends Eric Philbin (who got ordained and married us) and Darcie Carrier (who witnessed for us and made all the beautiful flower arrangements). We picked up the kids and drove to Chimney Beach in Tahoe (which could not have been a more beautiful setting). After our wedding (and toasting with Apple Cider), grandma offered to watch the kiddos and put them to bed and Eric took us out to an amazing dinner at Ella in Sacramento (the restaurant Sotirios and I went on our first real date). I couldn't love my family more and they make my heart so very happy!
