So...this picture exists.

He didn't end up putting it on his lips, but he was rather curious about it. Drew makes this waaaay too easy for me (watch out future girlfriends...mom's got some pictures to show you!)

You Look Fabulous Dah-ling!

Ava has been begging me to add color her hair (and Drew wants whatever Ava wants) so I compromised with them...super temporary Chalk Pastel coloring. This was how we spent our New Years; coloring hair, popping pop corn, watching tons of movies on the couch till they passed out...I wouldn't of wanted to be anywhere else :)

Another First I was Fortunate To Be Present For.

Drew's first "holy crap I don't think we can get what you shoved up your nose out" experience. He decided his nostril would be a good hiding place for his tiny, round, green air soft pellet. As he ran to me in a completely panicked state, I told him to blow really hard...he inhaled in, pellet went further up. I quickly held the other nostril and his mouth closed and tickled him. Shot right out.

Oh the joys of boys....PS: I thought I would also share this self portrait I just found on my phone that I didn't know he took of himself :)

Just Because We Can :)

Not sure where Drew gets a lot of things about him but that tongue...ya, that's my side of the family.

Drew is a "Good Daddy"!

Ava got a baby bear for Christmas from my dad and while she was gone, Drew took very good care of him. Drew sang to him, read him books, tucked him into bed, rocked him to sleep, gave him his bottle...very cute stuff :) Check out the video below!

Merry Christmas Charlie Brown!!

This Christmas (not unlike the last Christmas') was a whirlwind of madness! Drew spent Christmas eve and Christmas morning with me and Christmas day and the next morning with his dad (this switches next year). Needless to say, it's rather challenging to teach a 3 year old the real meaning of Christmas (family and togetherness) when the kid has 7-8 separate Christmas' in 3 days. Brad and Jaime (Brad's girlfriend) took him the Friday before Christmas eve and spent it with her parents, then had their Christmas morning with him the next day, I picked him up after and then we went to my dad's for Christmas then off to my Aunt Lynn's house for more Christmas, and then Christmas morning at my house, then off to Brad's family for even MORE Christmas...you get my drift. Here is a picture of him about 30 seconds after getting into the car from my Aunt's house...

Christmas Cookies...Daddy Style

These kind of sugar cookies have always been Brad's favorite so of course he has to pass the tradition on to Drewski! I hope our monkey brings some home for me :)

I'm just sayin...

I found this card today and I figured Drew would be a little young to receive it right now...but later it may come in handy! :)

Dovewood Court 2011

As we do every year, I took Drew for a visit to Dovewood Court in Orangevale (http://dovewoodcourt.com/) and his reaction to all the lights is always priceless. Drew made sure I took a picture of the one below (he said his Grandma Diana would of liked that one the best)...

I want this food truck!!

One day Drew will appreciate how awesome this truck is...until then I'll post it here :)

We saw this at the California International Marathon where we were cheering on a friend who completed a 26 mile run!

Santa Loves 2011

This is a picture from Drew's 2nd visit to see Santa...as you can see, he was equally as excited as the first visit. He actually would cut Santa off in mid sentence to make sure he heard Drew's WHOLE list (which he rattled off completely from memory of mostly Thomas the Train characters, of course).

City of Folsom Christmas Tree Lighting

This year, my mom (Cheryl Panattoni) and my sister (Breanna Lagana) and I took Drew to see the huge Christmas Tree light up in old Folsom! We walked down Sutter Street and it was packed full of kids and adults enjoying the music and Christmas sights. It was really cold and we got hungry, so we all decided to grab some sushi up the street and come back when the tree was already lit. It worked out better that way because we were able to walk right up to the base of the tree without a ton of people standing in our way. Drew of course, had the best night ever!
